Haylee stood outside the bakery, her eyes lingering on the bright cakes. She felt her mouth watering and wondered how anyone could afford such a thing. She turned her gaze too a more practical if less satisfying purchase of bread. She had planned on buying a warm loaf of bread, as a treat for her family, instead of the ugly roll that was made out of terasse.
